100% British Crafted Natural & Hand Dyed Bowmont Merino sheep wool Beanie. Beautifully soft, stretchy & double layered thickness for maximum insulation.
Each Beanie is individually crafted by Chris at Flock & Skein and comes with it own provenance 'From Farm to Yarn'.

Inspired by the Country Walks, 'Barley Beet'. Golden Brown, Caramel and Beetroot Burgundy .

You can almost feel the golden waves of Barley sway gently in the breeze with this Beanie.

The wool is from a small pet flock of Bowmont Merinos kept in Oxfordshire , spun in Yorkshire with no man made fibres added and then hand dyed in Lancashire by Chris @ Flock & Skein.

Merino wool is warm and cool, soft and stretchy, breathable, sustainable, and doesn’t hold  odour. It provides good insulation, transports moisture and has anti-static properties.

The ethos behind Flock & Skein is to be able to provide full provenance from farm to yarn using heritage and rare breed wool.
We buy yarn and fleeces directly from the farm ensuring the Farmers, Crofters and Smallholders receive a fair price for the product. Every process from Farm to Yarn is 100% Ethical & British.
