This incredible fleece comes from a rare British sheep breed listed as ‘Priority’ on the Rare Breeds Survival Trust Watchlist. Wensleydale wool is famous for its incredible lustre, long curly locks and strength — a dream fibre for spinners, weavers and fibre artists.

The Wensleydale sheep wool is from a rare breed flock  in Devon, spun in Yorkshire with no man made fibres and hand dyed in Lancashire by Chris @ Flock & Skein.  Wensleydale is a versatile yarn and will knit to a standard tension or slightly finer. Ideal for any wool knitting or crochet patterns.
